Welcome to A Visual Munch

We are a non-profit organization that since it’s beginning in 2007 has been growing, ‘maturing’.

This process is only natural. We would like to acknowledge the valuable support of our contributors, artists, friends and the entire planet.

A Visual Munch started as the organizer of digital exhibitions, combining the talent of artists performing and working in different mediums, from music to poetry to animation to photography.

Meanwhile, fresh ideas started to spark on dreamy nights.

As a consequence, A Visual Munch has been providing an array of services not only to artists but also to other organizations in the cultural and commercial sector. At the same time, we have been receiving wonderful input from them too.

You are invited to browse our website to find out more.

A Visual Munch aspires to cultivate the dialogue between artists and the community by providing various platforms for the exchange of ideas and interests.

Our aim is to encourage artists to produce quality and innovative work while inviting the public to develop a personal relationship with the arts.

The Exhibitions
The visual arts are widely used as one of the most important sources to communicate ideas, to encourage reflection, to raise issues and as a form of self-expression.

Using the various mediums that the visual arts has to offer, we are interested in making connections between the everyday activities of community and the visual arts.
A Visual Munch wants to engage with the norm of how people enjoy, question and communicate with the world of the arts.

It is our intention to project the art work in communal and eye catching spaces, followed with the opportunity to view the original art work exhibited in a gallery context, where it will be available for purchase and more.

A munch of wishes

A Visual Munch will run visual art exhibitions throughout Ireland and abroad which will showcase the work of artists from different nations.

In order to break the barriers created as a result of the pace of contemporary life, we will bring the artwork to outdoor spaces in the format of digital projections.
By bringing the visual arts to public areas and open spaces, A Visual Munch is hoping to open an accessible path to enjoy, comment and debate about the messages that the artists want to share with others.
